I was very pleased with this book because it did not give alot of boring background information but just enough to let me know what I needed to know for the storyline and it kept my attention to know the characters of Russo and Regan. I have suggested this book to everyone I know bacause the author is a friend of mine but I know what a hard worker she is. I look for more books to be written by her in the future. What a great book
This was.
I am a big fan of mystery novels and this one kept me guessing till the end. I hope we get a sequel soon.
Really enjoyed it. I love a good cop mystery. Looking forward to more R&R novels to see how the relationship develops.
I could not put this book down once I started reading it. I read 3 to 4 books per week and can hardly wait for another offering by this author. The story line kept my attention through out the entire book and I was not able to guess the ending.
This is one of the best books that I have read. I read 2 to 3 books in a week and this one kept me wanting more. I would suggest this book to everyone who loves to read. The woman that wrote this book is very talented and I can't wait for her next book to come out.
I thoroughly loved this novel, it was fast paced and a page turner. I have been out of the "reading mode" for a period of time but this book has helped me enjoy and be excited to get back into reading a great book. Looking forward to the next in the sequel with these colorful characters.
The mystery in this story was pretty good. I liked the two detectives. However, in places it was just a bit too wordy for me. The musings of the killer were way too long. How many different ways can you say someone is beautiful, strong and you want to love and kill them? The incorrect usage of lie, lay, laid throughout the book was annoying. Laid was even spelled "layed". For me, after the killer was identified, the book could have wrapped up. Instead, it just dragged on and on. I was unsatisfied with the ending. I'm sure there will be another book, but this one could have ended differently.
